Pelican Waters was established as a canal estate in 1995, so almost all housing here is modern and switchboard capacity is rarely an issue. Most of our work in the area is renovation-driven, particularly lighting upgrades for canal-front outdoor entertaining spaces. As one of the newer, purpose-built canal estates on the Coast, Pelican Waters homes were generally wired to a higher standard from the outset, meaning fewer of the safety-switch and fuse-box issues we find in older suburbs. Where we do get called out, it’s typically for additional circuits to support a renovation, outdoor lighting for canal-front properties, or upgrades tied to added appliances rather than remedial safety work.
